I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. After graduating high school, I attended University of Arizona for two years where I studied Biology before transferring to Carrington College in Tucson, where I received a certificate in Dental Assisting. My brother sparked my interest in pursuing a career in the dental industry. He thought it would be a great fit for my personality and interests. I previously thought I might like to work in the healthcare field, but wasn’t sure which path to pursue. I had the opportunity to shadow at the dental office where I was a patient and this experience helped me with my decision to change schools and become a dental assistant. My plan now is to eventually become a dental hygienist, but currently I enjoy the mix of responsibilities working in the front office and with our patients, assisting Dr. D and Dr. A. I love working in a team environment and learning the latest treatments to help ensure every patient leaves with a healthy and confident smile.
