I have been a clinical dental hygienist for 16 years, and have been a member of the Artistic Dental team for more than 4 years. As a hygienist, I enjoy the one-on-one patient interaction, and being able to impact each patient’s overall health through their oral care. In addition to caring for patients, I also enjoy teaching dental hygiene at Phoenix College and contributing to the education and development of quality dental hygiene practitioners. There is always some new advancement, interesting technique, and superior technology to learn in dentistry; it never gets boring! When I am not working, going to school or seeking new and exciting opportunities to advance my personal and professional life, I enjoy fitness activities. I have a love of the great outdoors and find great pleasure in hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, and running with my dog, Fozzie. I also enjoy spending time reading, watching movies, cooking, painting and playing musical instruments.
