No, it’s not a typo! I’ve been a Dental Hygienist in the Valley for the past 40 years. Dr. Dougherty and I met in 1996 and I’ve enjoyed being a part of his practice for the last 16 years. There are so many patients who’ve become like extended family to me and I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to care for them all this time. Since my husband and I are both originally from Western/Central New York, we decided to buy a home there in 2007. We divide our time between there and Phoenix, so I work a limited schedule during the summer months. We pack up our two Siberian Huskies and two cats and make the cross country trip to New York every spring and back to Arizona in the fall. We feel a little like the Beverly Hillbillies, but we have a great time and enjoy our time in the Finger Lakes area. It’s always good to get back to AZ in the fall and back to a full work schedule. I feel blessed to be a part of the Artistic Dental team and look forward to continuing in the years to come!
